hello there! i’m alyss munson, a 22 year old emerging artist from Michigan. i do all sorts of stuff, but mostly painting, printmaking, and fiber arts. check out my ‘works’ page to see it!

i make artwork about bodies of water, dreams, religion, my life, and everything inbetween there in a surreal style, typically with mixed media. looking to explore themes that i have a hard time articulating with words, i investigate how object histories intertwine with our human histories and traditions, how technology shifts that now, and where i fall into the puzzles i and the world make for myself.

i recently graduated with my BFA from the Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan! go blue!
